Travel information (how to reach Cluj-Napoca):
There are direct flights connecting Cluj to several european cities.
Please check the Cluj Airport website and contact your travel agent.
Cluj-Napoca is about 8 hours from Bucureşti (Bucharest), and 7 hours from Budapest, Hungary.

If you travel from Western Europe, take motorway M1 from Wien to Budapest, then European Route E60 for Budapest - Szolnok - Püspökladány - Ártánd/Bors (border crossing) - Oradea - Cluj (
maps ).

Currency exchange
The local currency is Romanian Lei (RON). Many exchange offices close to the city center offer good rates for Euro, US Dollar or Hungarian Forint. Check

Visa
EU, US and Canada citizens do not need a visa to enter Romania. In other cases please contact the Romanian Embassy in your country, or check the website of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs .
